Abbas Ali, Reveals To Us The Secret Behind Shahid’s New Look

Shahid Kapoor was lean when he came into the industry, then he pumped up his body to get those macho looks. The chocolate boy flexed his biceps and increased his chest size to look every inch of a cool dude. But now Shahid is going to sport a complete new look for his role in Kaminay.
Shahid says, “Today being fit is not about being bulky, lean is in. After four years of weight training I’ve switched over to functional training and it’s really changed the way I look.”
And Shahid’s trainer Abbas Ali, reveals to us the secret behind Shahid’s new look, “He is a vegetarian, and for him there is no source of first class protein except whey, so I planned a combination of complex and simple carbohydrates. Shahid’s diet includes fruits, greens, cottage cheese, pulses/dal, protein supplements, brown rice, sweet potatoes, peanuts, peanut butter, cheese, flax seeds, dry fruits, yogurt, a minimum four liters of water a day, wheat roti/bread etc. He eats every three hours, no matter where he is or what he is doing.”
