When Aamir Khan made Taare Zameen Par, it struck a chord with several parents who were struggling with dyslexic children. It also gave a voice to children with learning disabilities.
Talking at a press conference today here in Chennai, Aamir Khan said that he was happy that the film had created such an impact. He further added that the movie was not just about dyslexia, but basically it was about child care.
He used the opportunity to announce that he has just completed the dubbing of Taare Zameen Par in Tamil and Telugu. This was owing to a great demand from several quarters for the movie to be made in regional languages, for better and further reach. He even mentioned that he was also motivated by demands from the media, some of which were brought to his notice by director Murugadoss.
